Today is the second day of school, so by tomorrow I will have had all my classes and can speak (write?) more knowledgeably about my schedule and what I’m doing with my life. Well, with my academic life, that is. For this one quarter. I’ll work on figuring out the rest later. 🙂
Anyway, I thought I’d post a little survey in the meantime!
I love surveys. This makes very little sense for several reasons:
- I really don’t like making decisions.
- I don’t buy that you have to have favorites. Two things can be really enjoyable and there’s no reason that one has to be better than the other.
- I really don’t like making decisions.
Anyway, for some reason I do like surveys. I recently saw this one on Courtney’s blog and thought I might have to steal it. Today is the day!
I ❤️ chocolate.
I also adore vanilla.
Guys, I just really like dessert and sweet things. I don’t discriminate.
Innie or outie?
Ugh. I hate this question because I just want to be normal. Neither. I swear I have the strangest flat belly button. It’s bizarre.
Hot, hot summer or snowy winter?
Snowy winter. I get so crabby when I’m hot. I don’t function when I’m hot. There are a lot of reasons I go to school in Chicago and not, say, Florida.
Save or spend?
Save! Except recently I think I’ve been doing a liiiiiittle more spending. Working on reining that in because it makes me a little crazy.
Elliptical or treadmill?
Elliptical, 90% of the time. It’s way easier on my knees and hips than the treadmill, but occasionally I do get the itch to run despite that. Sometimes that’s outside, but sometimes it’s on a treadmill.
Banana or apple?
Banana in the morning and apple at night. Is that weird? Yes. I almost always have a banana with breakfast, and I almost always have an apple with my evening snacks. Still, I love ’em both and often eat them outside of their “scheduled” times.
Morning or night?
Absolutely morning! I feel like I get started on the day before everyone else and I have a little time all to myself. It’s so peaceful!
Love or money?
Love love love.
Lip balm or lipstick?
Lip balm. If it’s tinted, bonus, but I just like the way it feels on my lips soooo much more.
Butt or boobs?
Uh. I don’t have a whole lot of either, so I may not be the person to ask.
Alone or with others?
A lot of the time, alone. I need some time to myself and there are very few people who I feel like I could spend endless time with. However, there’s a super fine line. If I spend too much time alone, I get too far in my own head and start to go a little crazy and feel pretty depressed.
Coffee or tea?
I’m not huge on either, but I like tea better. It’s soothing and warm. I do like to add espresso powder to my chocolate baked goods to amp up the chocolate flavor, though!
Straight or curly?
Straight because it’s easier. When it’s humid, it gets flippy and wavy, though. 😛
Three square meals or graze all day?
I graze when I’m not super busy and I eat three squares and several more structured snacks when I am. I really like snacks.
Right-handed or left-handed?
Right.
Beach or mountains?
I like that there’s more active “stuff” to do in the mountains, but I like the water, too. It really depends on my mood.
Mac or PC?
Mac! I love it. I fell into the Apple trap.
Shy or outgoing?
I’m quiet, but not exactly shy. I enjoy getting to know other people, and I’ve gotten a lot better than I used to be at putting myself out there. Still, I’m much more likely to listen than talk when I’m interacting with new people, so I think I come off as pretty shy.
I think I figured out why I like surveys. See, you don’t actually have to make decisions. You can just explain your indecision.

I’m such an apple person but lately I’ve been eating a lot of bananas. I’m the same with bananas in the morning, apples at night. I have to disagree with you on the hot or cold one. I prefer hot, all the way (even though I sometimes complain lol).
Haha we all complain even about things we like 🙂 Talk to me when it’s January and I’m sure I’ll be lamenting the cold!

Bananas, certainly! I love them, although I consume them in stuff mostly. I’ve recently been taking frozen banana pieces and sucking on them…to die for! (It’s not that I don’t eat apples, I’m just way more crazy about bananas. 🙂 )
Neither! But if I had to pick one, I would pick tea, since I’ve had a couple that I’ve liked ok, and because coffee makes me lightheaded. (I’m also not a big fan of the flavor.)
Same as you said; really more quiet than shy, but because of that, I come off as shy.
I love frozen bananas! Sometimes I “melt” them with peanut butter and mix it all together like pudding. Sooo yummy!

I am very picky about both my bananas and my apples: they have to be absolutely perfect. Not too grainy/mealy, not too ripe/not too green, juicy apples, sweet bananas… But I love them both in stuff, whether it be smoothies, cookies, snackables, etc. But I have regular cravings for bananas and love it paired with any number of other flavors, whereas apples are less important in my food life. 😉 So bananas I guess.
I'm like you, I'm not a big fan of coffee or tea. My tea needs to be brewed super-strong (and even then, I only do herbal and it's mostly meh) and coffee gives me headaches and keeps me up. But I'll go with coffee, because I love the flavor *with* things, even if it doesn't love me back and I'm not big on it plain.
Ha! You could have been writing for me on the shy/outgoing thing! I wouldn't say I was shy, though I may come across that way, because I'm more likely to stand in the sidelines, listen to other people and insert a comment here or there. On the other hand, when I'm put in the social position of having to initiate, I can do it okay, and if the conversation gets onto a topic about which I am passionate, I will participate a lot more and get more into it.

I think survey posts can be so fun although I’m not super decisive, either. The one thing I CAN decide on for sure is chocolate over vanilla and the darker, the better! I love apples and bananas, too, and I love coffee but don’t drink it often because it makes me crazy jittery…so tea is probably a safer bet.
Dark chocolate is the best chocolate ❤️
