TGIF. Yes. It’s been a long-but-lovely week and I’m ready for a weekend. How about you? What are your plans? I’ll be doing some schoolwork, Fit U work, yoga training, football watching, and plenty of self care. It should be a good one. What do you say we kick it off the right way by looking back at some of our favorites from the week?
Anatomy lectures
This weekend, my yoga training is going to be in the form of anatomy lectures, and I’m bizarrely excited about it. I’ve been watching the preparation videos over the last few days and loved it! Our bodies are so cool and so different. I love learning new things.
Mikey’s Muffins
I was at Whole Foods last week when I saw these. They’re Paleo English muffins and I am officially obsessed with them. I eat them plain, slathered with nut butter, and in the form of sandwiches.
All excellent decisions. I want to try the other products in this line, but the original ones are all my Whole Foods has. I’ll still totally take it.
Nuttzo
It’s no news that I love nut butter. I’ve always refrained from buying Nuttzo because it’s so expensive. However, it was on a ridiculously good sale at Whole Foods a little while ago, so I figured there was no better time. I just opened the jar the other day and I adore it! I got the crunchy kind and the texture, in addition to the combination of all the different nuts’ flavors, makes it a winner. Love.
Nuzest
A little over a month ago, Nuzest* offered to send me some samples of protein powder to see if I’d be interested in partnering with them. As soon as I tried them, I loved them. They’re creamy, not overpowering in flavor, and have no icky aftertaste. I use the chocolate and vanilla flavors pretty much every day in either smoothies and cauli-oats (recipe soon, if you’re interested).
Nuzest* is made with golden pea protein and is free of dairy, gluten, soy, artificial sweeteners, and the compounds in legumes that are associated with problems on Paleo and Primal diets. All the good stuff, none of the bad stuff. I love it and can’t wait to experiment more.

Feeling the love
I was interviewed for this article (I’m toward the bottom!) a few weeks ago, and when my family and I shared it on Facebook, I got so much love from so many people who read it. Everyone from my Fit U writers to my high school acquaintances to my roommates has expressed appreciation for my story and that gave me a little bit of a boost yesterday. I smiled a lot. It was nice.
And that’s all for me for the week. I hope you have a fabulous weekend. Bake some muffins and have some fun!
Learning, love, @EatNuttZo, and @Nuzest_USA. It's been a good week. #nuzestusa #FitFluential Share on XYour turn:

Need to check out those Mikey’s muffins. I would be nerding about the anatomy stuff, too. I don’t need to do with the chem and bio side of things, but anatomy is my jam!

Anatomy is so cool! It feels so real-world… because it is 😀
My husband is in his first year at medical school and he also loves anatomy so much. Yesterday, he got to look at the human brain and all the different arteries they learned about. I always encourage him to share his stories with other people besides me. (Mainly because I get a little queasy when I hear that stuff!)
That sounds so cool!

Loved reading the article!
Hope you have the best and most relaxing weekend!
Thanks, Aya! I hope you had a lovely weekend, as well.
Those muffins look so good. For some reason I thought they were normal muffins, but English muffins sound even better! Maybe with an embarrassingly thick layer of melty butter 😉
YESSSS. Plus, I feel like stuff with almond flour tastes slightly buttery anyways, so it’d be like doubly buttery. YUM.
Uh you’re really making me wish my Whole Foods was closer. The closest one is about an hour away. But maybe I’ll head there next weekend and stock up on some of these favorites. As for a favorite sandwich I would probably go with anything with turkey or you can’t beat a good breakfast sandwich.
Breakfast sandwiches are so good! Anything with eggs has my name allll over it 😀
THOSE Muffins? They sound AMAZING! 🙂 And I love Nuttzo; that’s such a blessing that you found it on a sale. 🙂
Definitely some great finds!
Congratulations on the article! I loved reading it. 🙂 Also that English muffin sandwich looks incredibleee!
This week I’m loving PB&co. dark chocolate peanut butter! All day erry day. SO good! 😀
Thanks, Claire!
OMG that stuff is some of my all-time favorite nut butter.
I’m not a huge sandwich person, but I do love making sweet potato salmon “sliders!”
And THAT is why you’re a foodie genius. That sounds incredible – and it’s been way too long since I’ve had salmon!
Those paleo english muffins look so so good! There’s a storebought paleo bread I LOVE here but it’s crazy ridiculously expensive (moreso than gluten free bread, which is expensive enough!)
I loveee Nuttzo too – especially the chocolate one! I think I’ll be stocking up when we’re in the US next year as it’s cheaper than buying it here and shipping it over!
Paleo products are always more expensive 🙁 I splurge sometimes, though!
There’s chocolate Nuttzo?! Um, I need to find that ASAP.
