Happy St. Patrick’s Day! And happy Friday. Do you have exciting plans for the holiday? I’m finally getting my hair cut today (I like the length, but it gets so thick) and then… who knows what else the day has in store. Except crab cakes. Those will be dinner.
Anyway, let’s kick off a fabulous weekend by looking back at some of our favorites from the week. Ready? Sweet.
Beauty and the Beast
We certainly weren’t going to a midnight showing, but when we found out there were earlier showings, my parents and I decided to go last night. It was beautiful and adorable and I just loved it. It does the story justice, and it was gorgeous, which is about all you can ask of a live-action version of an animated film, if you ask me. Emma Watson is flawless. That is all.
A super bright manicure
You can see it above a little, but my nails are obnoxiously pink. I usually gravitate toward softer nail polishes and French manicures. In fact, I almost told the manicurist to switch to something else, but then it grew on me. I now officially love ridiculously bright nails.
Divide
It’s so catchy and pretty! I kinda love Ed Sheeran. This feels like I’m late to the game, but I’ve listened to all the songs on repeat over the last few days. And especially “New Man”. It makes me laugh and smile and dance around while stress-baking.
Matcha scones
Speaking of stress-baking… these are the result.
I’ve never really been a scone person because, well, they’re not the easiest to pull off, and a bad one is dry and crumbly. Which is exactly how I do not like my baked goods. I am, however, a matcha person. I love that it has an extra kick of L-theanine, and I’m trying to incorporate it into my life a little more. I can always use a little extra chill, and L-theanine does that. Anyway, I had an incredible matcha scone when I met Kara and I had to go and make my own. Look out for a recipe soon. They’re yummy. And of course I glazed them with chocolate, just because.
My mom’s diamond
This was my birthday present from my parents. After my dad bought her a new diamond recently, they decided to save this one for me. My mom found a new chain and they gave it to me on Wednesday. Love love love. Obviously, the picture doesn’t really do it justice, and the lighting isn’t fabulous, but it’s gorgeous and I love it.
Loving lately: Beauty and the Beast, baking, and birthday fun. #FitFluential Share on XThat’s all for me for now! I hope you have a restful weekend. Eat fantastic food, spend time with people you love, get some sleep, and I’ll talk to you next week!
Your turn:
What’s your favorite Disney movie?
Is your style loud or more subdued?
What are you loving this week?

I love that you got your mom’s diamond, what a special present. I was supposed to get my mom’s ring, but a year before I turned 21, it was stolen from the jeweler’s vault while getting appraised. Yeah, that was a bit of a mess.. And I really want to see BatB!
Aw sad story 🙁 Thinking of youuu ❤
ANd happy birthday again, obvs
Happy Belated Birthday! I’m going to see Beauty and the Beast at 3:30 this afternoon and I CAN’T WAIT! In love with Ed Sheeran’s new album as well – it’s so good! Those scones look amazing and I’m all for bright pink nails!

I am loving Ed Sheeran’s album. It’s so much fun, my favourites are those really peppy Irish sounding ones like Nancy Mulligan.
I LOVE bright nailpolish too. I’m a bit fussy though because I only really like reds and pinks…blue is way too out there for me.
Obsessed with the album! I’m going to his concert in September, too, so I’m pretty pumped!
Man oh man, I would love to have some thick hair! I have such thin hair and as my boyfriend likes to call it, I “shed” like crazy. Your birthday present is GORGEOUS, and not going to lie, I got emotional reading the reasoning behind the gift. Stellar gift. Absolutely stellar.
I always have trouble with the favorite Disney movie question… I have four answers for it…. I know.
Favorite Disney princess: Belle
Favorite Disney princess movie: The Little Mermaid
Favorite Disney nonprincess movie: Tarzan
Favorite Pixar film: Toy Story
Have a fabulous weekend, Ellen!
Ahhh, what a sweet gift! <3
I cannot wait to see Beauty and The Beast – I don't think there's any Disney movies I don't love. Actually.. I'm not too much a fan of Treasure Planet or Tron.
Fortunately I haven’t seen those two ?I can save my time!
Haha the waitress at the restaurant got a little emotional too. I didn’t get too teary till my mom’s toast at my party though ?
Cant blame you with the multiple favorites – I’m totally indecisive that way. Same fave princess (hi, she’s a bookworm) and I cannot believe I’ve forgotten about Tarzan! I need to watch that soon. Hope you’re having a lovely weekend, Julia!
