I always like to see how life changes from month to month, so I thought it’d be fun to use Amanda’s format of a “currently” post as way to show you (and me, looking back, I guess) what’s going on in my life now… That said, here’s life as I currently know it!
Current book:
An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding by David Hume. It’s really great light reading. Or not. It’s for my philosophy class, and it’s very thought-provoking. I think I’m enjoying it. We’ll be finished with it by the end of next week. Hopefully, over spring break I can move to some actual light reading for a bit, though. I haven’t finished Big Little Lies, and I’d really love to!
Current music:
Not much, honestly. I really like the Pink station on Pandora for when I’m working out, but I mostly listen to podcasts. I love (love) Alison Rosen is Your New Best Friend.
Current guilty pleasure:
Rewatching Gilmore Girls for the millionth time while I study.
Current beverage:
Also, water (and lots of it, I promise!).
Current food:
Um. All of them? Okay. I’m going to go with baby bell peppers stuffed with Laughing Cow Garlic & Herb cheese. The pictures are not pretty, but the result is delicious! Do it!
Current obsession:
Apparently, salted caramel things. By the way, both of these are wonderful.
Current wish:
For the paper I need to write to write itself? It never turns out that badly, but I always dread the process. Send happy thoughts?
Current need:
Nothing! Life is good!

Current triumph:
Staying organized! Usually, I get a planner and stop using it with a few weeks, but I’ve been using my Life Planner consistently… and not falling behind on (or forgetting about) assignments and to-dos!
Current bane of my existence:
Headaches/neck aches. I’ve had some nagging ones for the last couple of weeks. Though they’ve been much worse at points in the past, they’re still distracting and not super at all fun.
Current indulgence:
Taking time to just unwind when I need it. I know that isn’t technically “indulgent”, but it kind of strikes the same chord, especially since I skipped out on it for a couple busy weeks there.
Current procrastination:
I’m admittedly putting off some reading right now… but it doesn’t really need to be done till Thursday! 😉
Current blessing:
See “current need” above. Life. Life is good!
Current excitement:
One of my friends is showing her designs at a fashion show on Friday night! I’ve been watching her pull pieces together, and I can’t wait to see the final product!
Current mood:
Happy! But sleepy. Is sleepy a mood?
Current link:
I love hockey, and I love the Blue Jackets, and this is touching.
What’s your current book? Food? Obsession? Blessing? Excitement?
Hannah Elizabeth says
Current book: I think this is the same answer I gave last time you asked, “Perfectly Unique” by Annie Downs 😛 …as you can see, although I love reading, I don’t have much time for it.
Current food: Lol, love your answer! 😉 Me too…if I had to choose one to mention, I think it would be the “lasagna” I finally perfected the other night using zucchini noodles, rotisserie chicken, bacon and mushrooms, and layered with a pureed carrot and sage sauce… I loved it, and looked forward to leftovers all day yesterday!
Current obsession: Browsing blogs as I eat my meals…super-bad habit, I’m sure, but it’s helps me chill and relax. Though not sure if it’d count as a current obsession, ’cause I’ve been doing it for awhile. It’s just I’ve become more aware of my habit recently. 🙂
Current blessing: As always, the continual blessing of my totally awesome family!! And also that the past weekend’s injuries weren’t muscle/tendon injuries and therefore heal much faster. 🙂
Current excitement: My cousins’ second baby, due in a couple of months…I can’t wait to meet him!!!

Same! I love to read, but don’t always have (okay, make) the time for it.
Ooh that lasagna sounds interesting and delicious! I’ve never used zucchini noodles to mimic lasagna.
Um. I’m so guilty of that. Meals, snacks, whatever. If I’m not at a table with friends, I’m absolutely at a computer… and it happens quite a bit!
I hope your injuries heal quickly!
Awww congrats to your cousin! Babies are so fun 🙂
