Hi, there!
I’m Ellen, and I’m your new best friend. Too soon? Okay. Well, if you don’t want to be BFFs, I’m offering up friend status, too, if you’re interested.
I started this blog way back at the beginning of college as a way to stay in touch with my family, and it has clearly evolved since then. You can still – and always will – find all my posts hanging out on this site, because those are some serious memories and I had the best time writing it all up. So, if you ever want to know what 19-year old me was thinking in college, I’m 100% sure you can find out.
But now? Now, I want to provide you insane value. My blog was mostly selfish before, and while that’s not a bad thing, now I’m here to help you.
What can I expect from you?
Well, to be precise, it depends on what you want! You want a ton of tips on managing your life, health, and money better? Join my email list, and check out the blog and my social media, all of which will have tons of free (!) content for you.
But no matter how you engage with me, you can expect:
- To hear my experience and my opinion – no one else’s
- To feel so comfy with your money and your plans that you actually want to talk about them and tell all your friends that they don’t have to be miserable with money
- To fit health & fitness into your life with ease
- To hear about what I’m loving, whether it’s a new thing at Trader Joe’s or a cute thing my dog did
- To sometimes (but not always) read my perspective on the tough, serious things
- To keep having fun and spending on the things you love
Oh, and you can also expect pictures of my dogs, Ben and Willis, and some other assorted life musings, because like I said, we’re friends!
Some things friends should know about friends:
- I super love Gilmore Girls, and was introduced to Star Trek by my boyfriend, Jack, and I also kinda love that. And Breaking Bad. And Hart of Dixie.
- I’m from Columbus, OH, and I still live there and I love it. I left for college in Chicago, but I came right back after.
- I really like working out. Lifting weights is my favorite, but I also adore walking, and throw in the occasional run or sprint to make sure I have a shot at getting away if chased.
- Hockey is my favorite sport.
